Dimann Puro: your D-Mannose supplement

D-Mannose is a simple sugar with a very low impact on blood glucose levels that can attract the bacteria responsible for cystitis. The bacteria are then eliminated through the urinary flow.

How to take Dimann Puro

DIMANN PURO DOSAGE FOR ACUTE BACTERIAL CYSTITIS

During the acute phase of bacterial cystitis, we recommend taking 6 capsules of Dimann Puro per day, one every 2–3 hours.
Follow this dosage for one full week. Then move on to the maintenance phase.

Please note: In the presence of a high bacterial load, the daily dose of Dimann Puro may be increased during the acute phase, up to a maximum of 12 capsules / 6 g of D-Mannose.

DIMANN PURO DOSAGE FOR BACTERIAL CYSTITIS DURING THE MAINTENANCE PHASE

During the maintenance phase, which follows treatment of the acute phase of bacterial cystitis, we recommend continuing to take Dimann Puro to help eliminate any bacteria that may remain in the bladder, thanks to the D-Mannose contained in Dimann Puro.

The recommended maintenance phase lasts 7 weeks. Take Dimann Puro capsules as follows:

• 3 capsules per day for the first three weeks (one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening);
• 2 capsules per day for the following two weeks (one in the morning and one in the evening);
• 1 capsule per day for the final two weeks (in the evening).

Please note: In the presence of a high bacterial load, the recommended daily doses of Dimann Puro during the maintenance phase may be increased.

DIMANN PURO DOSAGE TO HELP PREVENT POST-COITAL CYSTITIS

If you experience cystitis 24–72 hours after sexual intercourse, you can help prevent it by following these instructions:

• Immediately after sexual intercourse, urinate (if you feel the urge) and take 1 capsule of Dimann Puro;
• continue by taking one capsule every 3 hours for the 24 hours following intercourse (8 capsules in total);
• after the first 24 hours, take 4 capsules of Dimann Puro per day for 2 days, spreading them throughout the day;
• finish by taking 3 capsules on the fourth day, spreading them throughout the day.

DIMANN PURO DOSAGE FOR ASYMPTOMATIC BACTERIURIA

If bacteria are present in the bladder without urinary symptoms (asymptomatic bacteriuria), you can reduce the bacterial load by taking Dimann Puro as follows for 4 weeks:

• 3 capsules per day for the first two weeks (one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening);
• 2 capsules per day for the final two weeks (one in the morning and one in the evening).

Please note: In the presence of a high bacterial load, the recommended daily doses of Dimann Puro may be doubled.

How to take D-Mannose correctly

Empty your bladder
before each dose.

If you are unable to swallow the capsule, pour its contents into 150 ml of a drink (non-carbonated and preferably lukewarm).

1 hour after taking it, drink plenty of water to allow the D-Mannose and the bacteria attached to it to be flushed out.

The last dose of the day should be taken with a small amount of liquid.

If you wake up during the night to urinate, remember to take one capsule of Dimann Puro (Please note: only during the acute phase).

Contraindications

Dimann Puro has no particular contraindications and can also be used by children, during pregnancy and by people with diabetes.
