Cosmetic surgery is not the only method that can help us get the breasts we have always wanted.
Exercise can help us counteract the effect of gravity, and some little tricks can "save" us when we are in a hurry and need a quick transformation.
Keep in mind, however, that no practice brings permanent results if you are not consistent in its implementation.
If you need a quick method...
Looking for immediate results? Surely you have one or more of the materials you need at home to put these simple tricks into action!
1. Use make-up
Makeup is an inexpensive way to give your breasts a boost: a pearly body cream can make them more noticeable, while a bronzing powder can increase their size by a size or two.
For a more natural effect, an illuminant can make the breasts look fuller, without overdoing it. Spread the illuminating cream from the sides to the middle part of the breasts.
For a more noticeable effect, a bronzing powder can create shadows that give the illusion of larger breasts.
Use a powder two shades higher than your skin color and highlight the top of your breasts (just below the collarbone).
2. The right bra
The bra is not solely designed to keep the breasts from moving too much.
Here, in fact, is how to make it play for an extra size.
- DIY cross-back bra. You can turn your regular bra into a cross-back bra to give you more volume. Just fasten the straps together at the back with a simple paper clip.
-
2 is better than one. Using two bras at the same time is a classic method of achieving the desired effect.
It is simple though a little uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it.
You will need to use two bras of two different sizes: your size and one size up. The larger bra will have to be worn over the one in your size. - The sock method. Filling the bra with a pair of socks is a good method in the absence of any particular cleavage. Fold each sock and place it at the bottom of each bra cup so that it is not noticeable. Any type of sock can be used but, of course, different sizes will correspond to different results.
3. Choose the right outfit
A good result also starts with choosing the right look. Gowns and dresses with a V-neck or sweetheart neckline are best for giving the illusion of larger breasts.
If you have time for a little shopping...
Putting these tips into practice requires a short trip to a mall or lingerie store.
4. Adhesive tape
When you don't want to wear a bra, you can use sports tape or specially designed tape (now available in lingerie stores) for a "lift" effect on your breasts.
There are two ways to use it:
1) When wearing a dress or sweater with a major V-neckline: cut a piece of ribbon so that it is long enough to go from the bottom of your breasts to your shoulder. Lift the breasts to your liking and apply the ribbon starting at the bottom. Proceed starting from the outer parts and later add more pieces of ribbon to the inner part.
2) When wearing strapless or backless garments: cut a strip of ribbon long enough to connect the outer part of one breast to the outer part of the other. Lift the breast slightly and apply the ribbon to the part underneath. Add more layers until the nipples are covered.
5. Silicone cups
If the sock method is not for you and you would like a more natural effect, you can evaluate silicone cups. These are silicone pads that you insert into your bra to get more volume instantly. You can insert them in the side or the bottom depending on the effect you want to achieve.
6. Choose the correct size
A bra that is the right size gives you the best support, height and appearance.
Yet, many women wear the wrong size.
When shopping, consider the following rules:
- Bras with front openings increase breast size;
- Balconette bras lift the breasts, without putting any pressure on them;
- More prosperous breasts need more support.
If you want long-term results...
There are practices that, put in place consistently over time, can lead to visible and lasting results.
7. Massage
Massaging the breasts can increase blood flow to this area and stimulate collagen production resulting in increased volumeof your breasts due to thickening of the muscles.
To put massage into practice:
- Use each hand to massage the breast on the opposite side;
- Gently press the area, following a steady rhythm;
- Start at the top and then go to the bottom.
8. Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is another method of increasing blood flow to the chest, as well as "waking up" the nervous system, ensuring greater firmness.
Once a day:
- Rinse the breast with warm water for 1 minute;
- Switch to a cooler temperature and repeat for 20 seconds.
9. Ad hoc exercises
Constantly doing exercises dedicated to our upper body helps us develop chest muscles and improve posture.
The best exercises are: push-ups, planks, and the use of weights involving the chest muscles. To begin, schedule 15-20 minutes each day in which to alternate between the three exercises.
10. Healthy diet (as always)
Research shows that a diet rich in essential nutrients helps keep breast tissue healthy.
To help from the inside out, eat:
- Hazelnuts, fish, and pumpkin seeds to increase omega-3 intake;
- Avocado and eggs;
- Anti-oxidant foods such as broccoli, cabbage, kale, watermelon and cereals.
11. Control the posture
Good posture not only helps maintain good body alignment but also emphasizes your body shape.
For proper posture you should:
- Keep your feet firmly on the floor when standing or straight when sitting;
- Avoid standing or sitting for too long;
- Keep shoulders slightly back and knees slightly bent.
